The Cilcain Show  &  Mountain Race now has its own web site at CilcainShow.org.uk

 Although Cilcain Show has gradually changed and grown down the years,  the spirit of the old Society remains in the traditional competitions which are sought to bring together the community in joint endeavour, enjoyment and interest.


Traditional exhibits include:

Home - Cakes, jams etc. Enter your cake and you could win the Poggi Cup.  
Garden - Vegetables etc. - the Llewellyn Griffiths Cup and the Rushforth Cup. Awarded for the best vegetable exhibit.

Flower Section.  The Salter Cup. Steward:

Handicrafts -  There is a chance to win the Handicraft Cup. Judge:

Flower Arrangement - A chance to win the Harold Mack Cup, or in the Children's Section, the Rankin Cup. Judge:

Art and Design. Have a go at winning the Junior or Senior Section.

Photography. Four classes including a class for young persons (under 16) with a chance to win a trophy or cup in each class.

Dog Show. A chance to win n one of 17 classes.

There are also opportunities for children to take part in their own flower arrangement section, and baking section.
