Cilcain Fly Fishing Association. Hon. Sec. Mr.David Parry.
Cilcain boasts four reservoirs in the hills to the west of the village. These reservoirs formerly supplied water to local inhabitants, but these days the village receives its water from the Alwen reservoir on the Denbigh moors.
The Cilcain reservoirs now provide an opportunity for followers of fly fishing. Day permits are available from the village post office / shop at a cost of £14 (please check for the latest price). Availability can be checked by phoning Mrs. Rogers on 01352 740184. To find out more about Cilcain Fly Fishing Association contact Arfon Rowlands on 01352 753813 or 740184.
